Field sports such as padel, tennis, field hockey, soccer and rugby put intense stress on the body. Injuries are therefore inevitable. Padel & Tennis: common injuries
Explosive movements and quick turns in padel and tennis put a lot of pressure on joints and muscles.
Tennis elbow
The forearm muscles can start to hurt when you start exercising more often or change your technique. This leads to strain and pain on the outside of the elbow.
Treatment at Helix: We relieve pain with targeted elbow treatments and strengthen your forearm muscles with strength and padel/tennis-specific exercises. This will improve your technique and reduce your chances of injury recurrence.
Calf injuries (whiplash)
A muscle tear in the calf caused by sudden movement such as a jump or sprint.

Ankle sprains

Soccer: common injuries
In soccer, many injuries occur from sprinting, spinning and physical contact.
Hamstring injuries
Sprinting can lead to strain or tear of the hamstrings.
